Guinevere
A five-minute short film adapted from the Lancelot and Guinevere episode of Sir Thomas Malory’s Le Morte Darthur.
Set within an impossible black-box Camelot, GUINEVERE strips the Arthurian legend down to its essential elements: love, betrayal, violence, and consequence. Lancelot and Guinevere’s devotion may save them from death, but their escape comes at a terrible cost to the world around them.
This first-look trailer offers a glimpse into the film’s expressionistic, theatrical interpretation of one of the most enduring tragedies in Arthurian legend.
The Drawing of the Sword (Ep 1)
The Drawing of the Sword is a cinematic short film that reimagines Arthurian legend through the lens of artificial intelligence and independent filmmaking.
Set in the forests of Lake Tahoe, where creator Elspeth Coleman was born and raised, the film follows a young woman who discovers an ancient sword and learns that she is the last heir to a lost kingdom. Blending mythology, fantasy, and emerging technology, the project explores how timeless stories can be told in entirely new ways.
Created using a combination of AI tools, traditional filmmaking principles, and original costume design, The Drawing of the Sword represents a new era of independent cinema where a single creator can bring epic worlds to life.
Written, directed, created, and costume designed by Elspeth Coleman, this short film stands at the intersection of legend and innovation, asking a simple question:
What if Camelot was never lost?
Instead, it waited beneath the pines of Lake Tahoe.
